Elijah - A Man For Our Time

The lament of God in the prophecy of Ezekiel ? “ And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge,

and stand in the gap before me for the land that I should not destroy it,  but I found none.” ( Eze 22:30 )

That could not be said in Elijah’s time. At a time of desperate spiritual need in his nation, he stood in the gap, virtually alone for the cause of the Lord.
